The garden has the native species of an iris. The irises are in full blossom in the early summer. They are a flower with a bright violet, and grow in colonies around the waterside. Some flowers have their own the language of flowers. The best season to watch them is the early May.Azaleas can be enjoyed mainly around the Minato Gotenmae lawn.
summer
In June, Japanese hydrangeas and mountain hydrangeas bloom. Only during this season, “Hydrangea Alley” is open.
Around the beginning of the rainy season in Kansai, hydrangeas bloom colorfully every rain.
autumn
Hagi, pampas grass, tsuwabuki, and gobies bloom. The weather is good and you can enjoy the garden comfortably throughout the year. It is the season when people who like to take pictures and cameras for each celebration often visit the park.
winter
In winter, as the seawater temperature drops, such as the flight of camellias and ducks, plankton decreases, and algae and turbidity decrease, so it is a season when you can enjoy a particularly clear and beautiful tidal pond.
